Our Mission
Parkalytics was founded on a simple belief: cities and organizations should have clear, visual data about how parking and curb space are actually used.
For decades, parking studies have been slow, expensive, and limited in scope. At the same time, many cities face an oversupply of parking in some areas and shortages in others, while curb space must support deliveries, rideshare, accessibility, and new mobility options.

Our CEO, Peter Richards, previously co-founded the curbside management software platform CurbIQ and has advised cities and organizations across North America on parking strategy, curb management, and mobility planning. He is also a co-inventor on a U.S. patent related to curbside and mobility data systems. He is the former chair of the Institute of Transportation Engineers Parking Committee and also served on the Open Mobility Foundation's Technology Council for 3 years.
